This is a post-COVID, reimagined version of the short story A Report to an Academy by Kafka.

Red Peter is a celebrity, also an ape. She taught herself to behave like a human after being captured from the wild. But from the very beginning of the pandemic, this ticket selling ape performer was out of a job overnight. After careful discussion with her agent, they decide to brand Red Peter as an internet influencer and start livestreaming shows. Very Covid safe.

And this, will be her debut.
